Tenant One Insurance
Optional coverage for your stored goods, with a $0 deductible and replacement cost value.
Insurance Is Not Required, But Read This First
You do not need insurance to rent a unit here. But under Florida law, our facility is not responsible for the items you store, and that surprises people. Your homeowner’s or renter’s policy may extend to off-site storage, and it may not. It is worth five minutes on the phone with your insurer to find out.
If it does not, Tenant One is a purpose-built option you can add month to month. It stops when your lease does, so you are never paying for coverage on an empty unit.
Check your own policy first
We would rather you found out you were already covered than sold you something you did not need. Call your insurer and ask specifically about off-premises storage limits.

If you have antiques, collections or high-value items, talk to Tenant One directly before you assume they are covered. Standard policies exclude a lot at the top end.
Making a Claim
Claims are handled by Tenant One directly, not by us. Contact them first, then let the office know so we can help with anything they need from our end.
Please note
AAA American Storage is not the insurer and does not administer this policy. Coverage, terms, exclusions and pricing are set by Tenant One and MiniCo. Always read the policy documents before purchasing. The summary on this page is provided for convenience and is not a statement of coverage.
